(A) Analysis of the HapMap CEU population reveals that rs2837960 resides within a linkage disequilibrium block that includes the BACE2 promoter region and first exon. (B) Analysis of exon tiling array data within the SNPExpress database suggests a trend between rs3837960_G and increased BACE2 expression (p = 0.08).
