Decreased IL-1β gene expression in the brain of controls and APP swe /PS1-MyD88+/- mice. Quantification of IL-1β mRNA expression by Q-PCR of 6 month-old mice revealed significant differences between the different mouse strains. Indeed, higher brain IL-1β mRNA levels were found in APPswe/PS1 mice compared to those measured in WT, MyD88+/- and APPswe/PS1-MyD88+/- mice. Error bars: SEM; n = 4-7; *P < 0,05 (significantly different from the other groups). (Statistical analysis was performed using one-way ANOVA followed by a Bonferroni post-hoc test).
