mRNA expression patterns of selected optic nerve genes following ONC insult. Pooled microarray mRNA expression changes were validated in individual samples by qRT-PCR. Relative fold change in each sample was determined based on a 2 fold exponential using mRNA expression values normalized to Gapdh and the contralateral control eye. Fold values of each gene presented as mean ± SEM. (A) Neuritin 1 (Nrn1), (B) Synaptotagmin 1 (Syt1) and (C) Synaptoporin (Synpr).
