Further, the line below the Ng sequence indicates the IQ domain with Ng’s conserved amino acid positions for the IQ motif above the line. The arrows indicate the calpain-1 cleavage sites between Ng37_38 and Ng42_43 which are generating the three most abundant fragments (Ng38–78, Ng43–78 and Ng1–37). Note that these cleavage sites are within the IQ domain
