The effect of microglia from Socs3fl/fl and DKO mice on photoreceptor survival in retinal explant cultures. Brain microglia were cultured from Socs3fl/fl and DKO mice. Retinal explants were from Socs3fl/fl mice. Retinal explants were co-cultured with different types of microglia for 24 h.
