Time course and dose response of inflammatory mediators induced by two types of Aβ(1-42) in microglial cells. BV-2 cells were stimulated with two types of Aβ(1-42) (1.0 μM) for 1, 2, 3, 6, 12, 24 h. Or cells were stimulated with the Aβ(1-42) (0.2~10 μM) for indicated time (TNF-α, NO and PGE2 for 24 h, or IL-1β for 3 h), then the supernatant was collected for ELISA, EIA or Griess analysis, respectively. Values are shown as mean ± S.E. **P < 0.01 or ***P < 0.001, oAβ versus fAβ groups.
