GPX4 is found primarily in Neuromelanin-expressing neurons of SN. GPX4 immunoreactivity is present in most cells expressing neuromelanin but is absent in many cells expressing TH but not neuromelanin. A. Example of cells expressing TH but not neuromelanin.
