CSF of stroked mice contains increased amounts of HSP60 . CSF from C57BL/6 J mice treated with focal cerebral ischemia (MCAo, n = 4) and from control subjects (sham, n = 3) was assayed by ELISA using an antibody directed against HSP60. Results are presented with the median. Statistical analysis was performed using the Mann–Whitney U test, p = 0.0651 for the comparison of both groups.
