Panels A, C and E show confocal images of 120 h old worms that express the Aβwt, the Arctic and the NIC variants, respectively, stained with anti-Aβ antibodies (green) and phaloidin (red) to show the actin filaments in body wall muscle cells. Panels B (Aβwt), D (Aβ Arctic) and F (Aβ NIC) show the orthogonal view of the same animals shown in A, C and E, to establish the location of the Aβ aggregates in relation to the actin filaments.
